On November 8, 2024, the Department of Ecology and Geology at the Faculty of Engineering of Yessenov University organized an event titled “Taza Qazaqstan: Ecological Culture.” The event aimed to promote environmental protection, raise public ecological literacy, provide continuous education for youth, and foster ecological awareness.
In his State of the Nation Address “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism,” Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized: “Improving the environmental situation is one of our primary tasks… The ‘Taza Qazaqstan’ nationwide ecological campaign has been running since spring. This is a beneficial initiative that unites the entire nation. Environmental cleanliness must become everyone’s daily habit.”

The event was also attended by representatives of the Department of Energy, Waste Management and Housing Planning, the “GIBRAT PRO” Public Fund, regional branches of political parties (“Respublica”, “Auyl”, “Amanat”), as well as the faculty members and students of Yessenov University.
